On a Friday afternoon in northwest Dallas County, west of Dawson, an unpleasant tragedy occurred. A incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. between a 2017 Dodge RAM pickup driven by 64-year-old Gary Bugger of Boone and Dan Beattie’s 2010 BMW motorcycle. When the pickup attempted to turn left onto C Avenue, it mistakenly placed the motorcycle in its path.

Beattie was thrown off his motorbike as a result of the accident, and he unfortunately lost his life at the site after landing in the south ditch.
